Cody Swanson was born in 1985 in Minneapolis. Upon graduation from high school, Cody left for Florence, Italy hoping to find a school to teach him the traditional academic disciplines. His goal was to develop the skills to embrace and uphold the dead artistic legacies in which Europe, in all her splendor, lay so rich. He enrolled at The Florence Academy of Art, and completed the three-year Sculpture program. Today, his desired path is to employ his sculpture in God's service, and to fill all those who look upon it with the same love, compassion, and incantation of form that inspires him while observing the grace and order of God's creations.
