Atle Skudal was born in Karmøy, Norway in 1972. He studied painting with Odd Nerdrum for two years, 1997-1999. After that time Atle became a student at The Florence Academy of Art where he received his certificate in painting in 2002. He was an assistant instructor at the Academy for one year before returning to Norway. He has participated in exhibitions in Norway and in the Annual Alumni Exhibition in Florence in 2005 and 2006. He had an exhibition in Oslo at the Siverts Gallery and he participated in The Florence Academy of Art group exhibit at the W.H. Patterson Gallery in London in 2006. He currently resides in Norway.
