Hywel Pratley

Hywel Pratley is British, born in 1972. His love for sculpture was catalysed when failed as a candidate for art classes at the age of 13. He has enjoyed sculpting clay when possible since then. Creative revenge and forgiveness are interesting motivators, and he looks forward to meeting his old teacher one day to discuss Rodin, Manzu, Gormley etc. Prior to his studies at The Florence Academy of Art, Hywel studied in the London atelier of Jan Buckley, R.A.
