Andrea L. Nutt was born in 1981. She began formal artistic training at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She earned a Bachelor's degree from The George Washington University in Washington D.C. majoring in Fine Art and minoring in Art History. Andrea graduated with highest honors at nineteen years old. She is a Presidential Art Scholar and member of Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. Andrea's education continued at The Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy. She studied there for nearly four years, contributed to the Florence Academy as a full-time instructor, and earned a certificate in drawing and painting in 2004. In 2005 she returned to the United States and opened a private painting studio in the Atlanta area. She also taught at Brenau University. Andrea currently lives and works near San Juan, Puerto Rico. She is inspired by landscape, still life, portraiture and especially religious and figurative painting. Her work has exhibited and sold within Europe and America.
Andrea is dedicated to painting with faith that fine art can communicate the qualities of transcendence that may uplift humanity. |
