Valdemar Lethin was born in Sweden, 1978. Valdemar knew from an early age where his talent lay, and that he would make a career as a figurative painter. While he found "modern art" of little interest, early encounters with the work of characters such as Hieronymus Bosch and Salvador Dali inspired him.
Time spent at art schools in Sweden proved to be largely fruitless. In 2002 he was accepted at The Florence Academy of Art. Thanks to studying and working there he acquired technical knowledge he had long been dreaming of.
He currently works at The Florence Academy of Art in Mölndal, Sweden.

Valdemar believes in simplicity and honesty.
