Joshua Michael Klegerman was born on Mothers Day, May 13th 1979, in the suburbs of Chicago. Having an intense interest in drawing as a child and into early adolescence, he decided to pursue an art education in late 2002. Inspired and encouraged by close friends, and without prior training, he began studies at The Florence Academy of Art in the spring of 2003. He graduated in 2006 and is currently completing a 4th year of specialization. He has exhibited in W.H. Patterson Gallery, London and Grenning Gallery, Sag Harbour, NY and currently resides in Florence.
