Lance Dooley was born in Thailand to a family of traveling Americans in 1968. His family later moved to Iran and eventually landed in Washington State, where Lance finished his schooling years. The rich infusion of different cultures from different countries imprinted Lance and he always dreamed of going to the best art school in the world and developing the necessary artistic skills to visually articulate the voices from different parts of the world. That dream came true when he came to The Florence Academy of Art and graduated in 2008. Lance spends his days in Seattle and enjoys sculpting people from different  ethnical backgrounds.
