Isolde Cortes is of Colombian-American nationality, and has been fortunate to live in both countries throughout her life. Isolde’s artistic interests began at a young age, when she trained as a ballet dancer, studied guitar and voice, and then began experimenting with drawing and painting in her teens. In 2002 she began her formal training in the visual arts at The Florence Academy of Art, completing the Drawing Program in 2003, the Sculpture program in 2006 and has been a sculpture instructor for 2 years. Isolde's work has been shown in galleries in London and Dublin. Many pieces are in private collections throughout the world.
