Nicole Alger was raised in New York City. After graduating Duke University, she studied at Studio Cecil Graves from 1989-1991 followed by The Florence Academy of Art where she studied from its inception in 1991 until 1994. Over the years, she has sold her work through private commissions as well as shown in group and solo shows. She has shown in galleries in Chicago, New York, Europe and has won awards for portraiture.
